Bonnie Bishop
Bonnie Bishop is a country rock singer-songwriter from Texas,[1] who grew up in Houston, and moved from Austin, Texas, to Nashville, in 2007.[2] In 2008, she performed at the Austin City Limits Music Festival.[3] Her single "Sweet on the Down Low" was on the Texas music charts for more than six months.[4]
Classically trained, Bishop had previously considered pursuing a career in opera.[5]

Personal life Bonnie Bishop was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of two musicians. Her father was a blues piano player, and her mother a cellist. In 1991 she moved to Mississippi after her mother remarried.[6][7] Bishop graduated with a sociology degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2001.[8]
