Flyer's Concert Review
The Foo Fighters at Madison Square Garden were amazing. Dave Grohl is very lively and he really should pursue a career in Comedy if this music thing doesn't work out. He knows how to keep the crowd engaged with his sarcastic humor. One of the great things about a rock show at MSG is the volume of the crowd. When the crowd sings along you know it and at this show they definitely did. The Foo Fighters pretty much played all the hits except for a couple of songs. And... the played them intensely. They through in an acoustic set in the middle of the show which included a a acoustic version of "My Hero" and ended with "Everlong" which, brought them back to their electric set. This was a first for me... The percussionist, Drew played a heartfelt triangle solo. Yes, that's right, a triangle solo.
Besides the hits there were a few surprises like, "Marigold" and the crowd seemed to appreciate some of the tricks up Dave's sleeve.
The Foos are a must see in concert. Get your ticket and go. I will be going again.
