rjwinters's Concert Review
Enrique appeared on stage looking haggard and not very enthusiastic. He sang 3 songs in English. If I had known he was going to perform mostly in Spanish, I would not had paid 300/ticket for a friend and I to attend. we only speak a little Spanish. He went on to have a living room set and invite a few other spanish speaking people on stage and proceed to use the "F" word multiple times during the interaction. Oh, I can't forget to tell you about the band and audience having Vodka shots on stage before he began the next set. Suring the next set he opened up singing in a baby voice, for most of the song. All I can say is "Wow!" Enrique did have a guitarist who was outstanding. He actually did a better job of showmanship than Enrique. Enrique's band seemed a little put out by Enrique's antics. I had waited 6 years since moving to Florida, to catch him in the area again, and the concert was very dissappointing. Guess he's just going the wasy of the other wash-outs in the business. What a pity!
