Earlier in the week we launched our new spiffy merch section of the site. There are about 6,000 items to admire. We've integrated the merch as part of your concert experiences now too. So, when you write your review, you can choose which merch items you liked or bought from the show.

Hey Evryone,
We are happy to tell you about the Lady Antebellum exclusive interview on Concert Attack (On the homepage this week). We stick to live music related questions. It's a bit different but different is very good. Check it out!
Also... "As Seen By" has been added to artist profiles. So when you, fans, add your stuff from the concerts that you go to you'll show up on the artists profiles representing.

This Tuesday, 3/25/08, we got a last minute opportunity to go take some video of Eve6 at the Recher in Maryland. I had seen Eve6 back in 1998 open for Third Eye Blind at Hofstra University. They put 3EB to shame. I liked their performance so much better.
The short version, Their performance at the Recher was great. You can look up Eve6 to read my review of the show.
Details...
After a four car ride from NYC we arrived at Recher Theater. This is a great venue and it was sold out. We set up a couple of cameras, one off to the side on in the middle of the audience for the shoot. That was me. Between the crowd surfing, dancing, occasional fight and security guard saying you can't record (we got that straightened out. The security was real nice and cool dude) it ain't easy shooting video in the middle of a crowd. It all was good though and we got some great stuff including a promo spot for the site. Check the "About" page.
The Eve6 fans were very happy to see the band after 5 years and they showed. I am glad we were able to take part. On to the next one!

We have launched out Concert Attack application on Facebook for all you Facebook lovers out there. You can "Concert Attack" your friends with cliched artist stage and fan dance moves like, "The Failed Stage Dive" and "The 80's Falsetto Scream" and earn points. Fun stuff. ConcertAttack.com has been going through different Alpha versions with limited exposure to the public so that we can iron things out and do some fine tuning. So if you are on here now, you get big cred as being one of the earlier adopters of this community.
However, we are getting ready for the Beta launch! This is a big deal because we will start making more people aware of the site.
So listen up, we want to hear from you. If you have any suggestions or feature requests then let us know and they might just end up on the list.

The rumors may be confirmed. We have a card up our sleeve. There will be an interesting and addictive ConcertAttack.com Facebook Application being launched in the next couple of weeks. I warn you. You may not be able to stop using it.

Ah... The first company blog... It still smells new in here. Well if you are not sure what ConcertAttack.com is about then remember this, when you got to concerts, come to ConcertAttack.com and post your pictures, videos and reviews. We then categorize them by artist, venue and date and make your life easier. When you want to find out about a band's live performance or see pics and read reviews from a certain show, come to ConcertAttack.com to find out because, it is a lot easier then searching through thousands of Myspace profiles to see pictures of the show. Concert Photographers get props, bands can interact with fans (check out the video tour journals) and fans can really speak their minds about shows with video concert reviews. You can also rate artists on how well they perform. Artists, you better rehearse and rock the stage!  More news coming soon...!
