Right on, brother, buyers should know there are the two different CDs, both good, I prefer the American CD if only for the better version of Spaceman. Also noteworthy -- the liner notes with the American CD were heavily censored with black pen to hide the naughty bits -- so you need the Canadian CD to read the notes in full.

I understand what the other reviewer is saying and "I died" is one of Bif's greatest songs in my opinion, however I would still go for the Canadian edition of this album. The songs gel better without I died and Twitch on it and they are both available on "Another 5 songs and a Poem" - great cd - and her new "Essentially Naked" collection. What you can't get except for on this Canadian edition of I Bifficus is this particular version of Spaceman (it's different on the Uk (import) edition and on Essentially Naked) and a song called "If I" which is really good. And the Spaceman remix I think is pretty funky!
Hope this helps.

I first saw Bif Naked on an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Right away, I was very impressed by her presence and voice. When she sang Lucky, I was hooked and bought the album I, Bificus. While reading the lyrics, I saw inconsistencies which I thought to be last minute changes that didn't make it into the final cut. Only later did I realize that I, Bificus had been remade for the States with different versions and extra songs. I bid and won a copy off of Ebay and listened to it and discovered that many of the songs sound infinitely better. "Spaceman", while still the same song lyrics, begins and sounds very differently musically. "Lucky" includes all lyrics found in the American release while "If I" is a nice compliment to a already good album. If you have the American version of I, Bificus then this version makes a wonderful companion piece.
