I am a peace freak and have been as far back as I remember, I think it started with my pre-school teachers, and the mid sixties. My mother still grumbles when she mentions them, and I laugh because she describes the rest of the school being quiet, and couldnt understand why my teachers would allow my class freedom to move about, expression ect., My fiance reall shocked me when she presented an early birthday gift. I was working when Michael Lang was signing and was really bummed because I couldnt make it. I asked my fiance to go and she said she had plans. When she asked me what I wanted for my birthday, saying nothing was out of the question. I asked her for a copy of the book " the road to woodstock" When I recieved the book she suggested that I read the card first, I was eager to begin reading, I opened the card and it read "Happy Woodstock And Happy Birthday" signed by Michael Lang, It totally blew my mind. She had taken the subway (which she really dislikes) and asked to have my card and book signed my Michael,and a few others, To me, when someone does something like take the subway, wait in line for 3 hours, have a book and card signed,(when its not her genre of music or scene) aside the Love she shows me everyday, my love for her which I thought could not grow anymore, has. I would like to also thank the folks that took the time to sign at the brookline bookstore in Mass. Assisting my Beautiful wife to be, in making this a birthday that I will never forget

I feel that I can explain the practices I have, and fully understand that like most habits, practices and beliefs begin with self. I have clear thoughts with the ways I recycle, walk or take public transportation for distance, and talk to people without a clipboard, and question those who do how often they speak to people when they are not being paid money.
