Epic Rights and Perryscope appointed to jointly manage global licensing program for Woodstock.


New York and Los Angeles, May 19, 2014: Perryscope, an industry leading licensing and merchandise company and Epic Rights, a full-service global branding, licensing and rights management company, have been named to jointly manage a global licensing program for Woodstock, which celebrates its 45th anniversary this August.

The announcement was made today by Joel Rosenman and Michael Lang, of Woodstock Ventures, the firm that produced the Woodstock Festival in 1969 and owns the related intellectual property; Norman Perry, Co-Founder of Perryscope; and Dell Furano, CEO, Epic Rights.

Perryscope and Epic Rights will serve as global licensing agents overseeing a series of innovative initiatives that both honor and reflect the Woodstock legacy and lifestyle. As the pioneer of music festivals, Woodstock continues to be the genre’s ultimate standard as well as the catalyst for today’s explosion of festivals around the globe.
